I am a dreamer in the literal sense. I can't remember when I've ever slept through the night without a conscious awareness of my dreams. Scientists would say that I am a lucid dreamer.

I asked you yesterday about your attitude toward the Bible. Most of us do not understand our attitude toward the Bible. We have a sort of love/hate relationship. We love it, but we hate to read it (at least we act like we do). We'll defend it, but we won't depend on it.

Acting like We Believe

If every Christian in America was asked the question, “Do you believe the Bible?” the answer would probably be: “Yes.” Some people might even appear to be a little offended by being asked. I would certainly say, “Yes, I believe.” But what if, instead, every Christian was asked, “Do you act like you believe the Bible”?
